Palermo: a worker died when he fell from an eighth floor of a construction site

According to what police sources reported, a worker died after falling from an eighth floor while working on a construction site, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo.The head of the SAME, Alberto Crescenti, clarified to Télam that the victim “died on the spot,” after “hitting the asphalt.” In addition, he stressed that “there are no other injured by this fact,” and that service personnel of the Relief Guard of the City of Buenos Aires were in the place because “there is a danger of collapse in the area.” The deceased worker was “finishing a wall, he detaches from the safety harness to have greater height and it is at that moment when he loses his balance and rushes into the void,” police sources said. And they added that the man was found “30 meters from the access to the building” under construction, on the ground floor and with ten floors.
