Covid-19 balance: Minsal reports 3,312 new cases and 10.53% of national positivity

The Ministry of Health reported 3,312 new cases, of which 1,944 were symptomatic and 443 had no symptoms. In addition, there were 925 positive PCR tests that were not reported.
In this way, the total number of people diagnosed with Covid-19 reached 4,652,776. and recovered patients reached 4,565,509. since the arrival of the coronavirus in Chile.
The death of 19 people in the last 24 hours was detailed, thus reaching 61,325 since the beginning of the pandemic. On the other hand, positivity reached 10.53% nationwide.
As for the active cases, these reached 15,518 people and PCR tests amounted to 29,437 in the last 24 hours, thus reaching the total amount of 45,450,220.
Meanwhile, there are 92 people hospitalized for Covid-19 in Intensive Care Units. Of these, 67 are supported by mechanical ventilation. In the same vein, the hospital capacity has 1,904 critical beds enabled and 305 critical beds available. These latest data, as reported by the Minsal, correspond to the data reported last Saturday.
Positivity in the Metropolitan Region reached 13.70%, while the regions with the highest increase in new confirmed cases in the last seven days are O’Higgins, Metropolitana, La Araucanía and Biobío.
