President Alberto Fernández met this afternoon, within the framework of his visit to Neuquén, with representatives of Mapuche communities after the repression in Villa Mascardi last Tuesday that culminated in the arrest of seven women, one of whom was pregnant and five children, who were later transferred to the Secretariat of Children and Adolescents of Río Negro. the representatives of Mapuche communities spoke with the President about their willingness to organize a space for dialogue to resolve conflicts. The meeting was attended by Julio Vera, Lonko of the Vera community; Luisa Cayún, Lonko de Cayún; Leticia Curruhuinca, keliu of the pink machi of Puel Mapu; Fidel Colipan, Huiliche zonal werken of the Neuquén Mapuche Confederation; Héctor Uribe, Lonko de Curruhuinca; and Patricia Mansilla, mayor of Lanin National Park.
