The Justice determined yesterday that, after lack of merit, the five crew members of the Venezuelan-Iranian plane of the Emtrasur company that remained in the country, are authorized to leave Argentina. Federico Villena, federal judge in charge of the case, ruled that due to the lack of evidence indicating any type of crime or terrorist activity, no sufficient connection was found to “order the prosecution or to order the dismissal of Víctor Manuel Pérez, Mario José Arraga Urdaneta, Abdolbaset Mohammadi, Saeid Valizadeh and Gholamreza Ghasemi.” Likewise, the ruling indicated that it is resolved “to order, consequently, the lifting of the ban on leaving the country with respect to the accused (…), a measure that will be communicated through the Federal System of Police Communications (SIFCOP) proceeding to its immediate retransmission to the security forces and the National Directorate of Migration as well as to order the return of their travel documents.” In this same sense, Villena had determined on September 26 that fourteen of the 19 crew members were also dismissed. In this way and as of yesterday, all venezuelan and Iranian crew members recovered their documents and were authorized to leave the country.
