Tomorrow, Monday, the Buenos Aires Collection Agency will notify seven hypermarket chains that tax evasion movements were detected in the sale of meat last year for a total of 1,500 million pesos. According to Telam, from the agency indicated that the supermarkets in question are La Anónima, Coto, Toledo, Makro, Jumbo, Carrefour and Changomás, which liquidated in 2021 half of what they had to pay for the commercialization of meat in their premises. In turn, they explained that the maneuver detected is related to the tax rates that beef products have. Everything would indicate that since butchers pay rates of 2.5% and supermarkets 5%, large companies would have declared aliquots for the sale of retail meats and thus pay half of what they are actually entitled to as stipulated by ARBA. Likewise, movements of triangulation and under-declaration of income are estimated. The control procedures were intensified in June of last year with the connivance of the Buenos Aires Ministry of Production and around 200 agents participated in the activities to warn of tax evasion, which included verifying the transfer of goods and controlling compliance with the Care Prices program. San Miguel, Vicente López, Tandil, Bahía Blanca, Mar del Plata, Martínez, Moreno, Chacabuco, Trenque Lauquen, Salto, Esteban Echeverría, Ezeiza, Ituzaingó, Munro, Moreno and General Rodríguez, among other localities of the suburbs and the Federal Capital.
