Alternate Mayor of San Miguel Totolapan Resigns

More than a month after the attacks that left at least 20 dead in San Miguel Totolapan, Guerrero (including Mayor Conrado Mendoza Almeida), the alternate for the position delivered his resignation for safety and health reasons.
José Alberto Nava Palacios, alternate municipal president, delivered to the Congress of Guerrero his “irrevocable resignation.”
“Due to my current state of health, the painful tragedy that occurred and the circumstances that prevail in my beloved San Miguel Totolapan, Guerrero, from this moment I inform that together with my family I have made the firm and irrevocable decision to renounce my right to occupy the position of municipal president owner in the municipality of San Miguel Totolapan”, Published.
