The former Minister of the Interior, Rogelio Frigerio, and the Auditor General of the Nation, Miguel Ángel Pichetto, met in Mendoza with the radical senator Alfredo Cornejo and sealed an electoral alliance for 2023.According to NA, the members of Together for Change launched the space “Federal Meeting for the Development of Mendoza”, which will join the existing coalition “Cambia Mendoza”. The event was also attended by Governor Rodolfo Suarez, and Vice Governor Mario Abed.
In this way, Cornejo explained that the country “needs a productive shock that the interior can give,” with a “competitive capitalism but with an intelligent State that can arbitrate.” In turn, Pichetto explained that the objective of the political movement “is to include within the coalition all those who want to join a project of change, a productive program linked to the world of work, to leave behind the vision of the homeland of poverty.”
For his part, Frigerio said: “This government would have to change everything, there is not one thing they have done well. Without an extraordinary external bonanza, populism has no solutions for the people.” At the same time, the Federal Party chaired by Adolfo Inoccente from Mendoza, and the Integration and Development Movement (MID) made up of metallurgical businessman Julio Otero participated in the launch of “Federal Encounter”.
