Soria: “It could be the first sentence written by Clarín and La Nación”

The Minister of Justice, Martín Soria, spoke about the Vialidad case in which Vice President Cristina Kirchner gave her last words in the debate today. In that sense, he remarked that the verdict that will be announced on December 6 “could be the first sentence written by Clarín and La Nación.” In a dialogue with Futurock, the official stressed: “We would be facing the possibility that it is the first sentence written by Clarín and La Nación against a President elected by the popular vote of the Argentine people. A serious situation that will surely have a lot of repercussions.”

At the same time, Soria said: “The Vice President expressed the forcefulness of always. There were three years of trial, 114 witnesses, more than 100 hearings, 70 hours of arguments by prosecutors (Diego) Luciani and (Sergio) Mola and all the evidence they presented was distorted.” In turn, he was in line with the vice president and said: “More than ever the description that the lawfare court is a firing squad is accurate. This trial cannot be dissociated from the entire scenario of political violence and a climate of destitution that was fueled by the opposition and its armed media group and that ended in the attempted murder of Cristina.”

In addition, he added: “When one sees that the girlfriend of the one who shot him (by Brenda Uliarte, partner of Fernando Sabag Montiel) in Cristina’s face followed the prosecutor Luciani on social networks, it is more than clear to know where the bullet comes from.” Finally, Soria said: “It is a trial full of irregularities so one can argue that the sentence could be written. I do not want to get ahead of myself, I think it does not correspond, but one suspects what could be the result of this farce that they have mounted during this time.”
