Fashion designer Olga Naum was found dead in a hotel room in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Recoleta last Saturday. His family had reported him missing days earlier and the news was made public on Wednesday. Naum, 75, had stayed at the Up Recoleta hotel, located at José León Pagano 2684, on Friday. The family reported to the police said that the last time she had been seen alive she was walking along Figueroa Alcorta Avenue in the direction of the forests of Palermo.As police sources confirmed to the portal Noticias Argentinas, the body of the woman was found on Saturday 24 at noon by members of the Neighborhood Police Station 2 A of the City Police.The hotel receptionist declared to the police that there was Seen the woman enter the room on Friday afternoon, unaccompanied and that on Saturday morning, when she had to leave, they called several times to her room without getting an answer. For that reason, cleaning staff entered and found the woman apparently without vital signs. When the police entered the room they found an empty blister of clonazepam, two bottles of clonazepam in drops and on the light table a newspaper clipping and a letter made on a computer, and added at the end a handwriting. The case was handled by the National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office 8, headed by prosecutor Leonel Gómez Barbella, who ordered the transfer of the body to the judicial morgue for an autopsy, which determined that Naum died as a result of pulmonary edema.
