The environment and nature are the central axis of the exhibition “That which explodes is not the sun”, which opened at the Rolf Art gallery, curated by Francisco Medail and works by different artists. It is a collective exhibition, which will run until February 24, 2023 and presents an unprecedented dialogue between various photographers of the gallery based on the reflection on the link between the human and what we still call nature, as reported from that space in a statement. The exhibition is composed of images by Adriana Lestido, Ananké Asseff, Andrés Denegri, Celeste Rojas Múgica, Gabriela Golder, Graciela Sacco, Humberto Rivas (1937-2009), Liliana Maresca (1951-1994), Marcos López, Marcelo Brodsky, RES, Roberto Huarcaya, Santiago Porter, Sara Facio, Silvia Rivas, Verónica Meloni and Vivian Galban.Hay photographs that problematize the relationship with the environment, videos that look at the sky as a place of escape, Animal objects that engender new zoomorphic identities, images in which the human face acquires unrecognizable forms: all these works configure scenarios to rethink the way we inhabit the planet and link us between different species. The exhibition, with free admission, can be visited from Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., until February 24, 2023, at Rolf Art, Esmeralda 1.353, in the city of Buenos Aires.
