Iran executes two people convicted of participating in protests over Amini’s death

Meanwhile, the number of executions rose to four, then there are two others who have their sentence confirmed by the Supreme Court, six are awaiting further trials and two others can appeal the ruling. On the other hand, activists say that another dozen people face charges that can carry the death penalty. That is why the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights made it clear that “it is shocking that Iran continues to execute protesters, despite international outrage.”
