“Sentilo Mucho” arrives, the documentary film about the life of Joaquín Sabina

Star+ presents “Feeling it very much,” the film by director Fernando León de Aranoa that accompanies Joaquín Sabina from an intimate look that tells who the Spanish singer and poet is off stage. The documentary hits Argentine theaters on March 17 and will be available on Star+ for Spanish-speaking Latin American countries from March 31. The film is the result of thirteen years of filming in which all the scenarios of Joaquín Sabina are covered: public and private, luminous and hidden. A journey through the keys of his life and his work, for what moves him, for what inspires him and for what hurts him; always developed from living and shared situations between Joaquín and Fernando.“This film is a strange privilege that, as a filmmaker, I would like to share with the audience: to spend some time alone with Joaquín when she is not Sabina. Thirteen years ago I began to shoot with him, to accompany him in his day to day, in rehearsals, tours and in his environment to portray the artist in his best and worst moments; and his personality, so linked to his work and creativity. It’s been a lot of fun.” says Fernando León de Aranoa, director of the film. Produced by Reposado, BTF MEDIA and Sony Music Spain, distributed by Star Distribution, the film reveals the authentic personality of one of the most important Spanish singers, composers and poets of recent decades and is the first work of its kind on Joaquín Sabina. It is a challenge that has been possible to carry it out thanks to the close relationship, based on admiration and trust between the musician and the filmmaker. It is the sample of the enormous talent of two fundamental people in the cultural panorama of the last decades. The film joins the Star+ catalog that offers a wide variety of live shows, and productions such as “Bios. Vidas que marcaron la tuya”, the acclaimed documentary series that reconstructs the history of outstanding personalities of Latin American popular culture, including great exponents of music such as Gustavo Cerati, Alex Lora, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Charly García and Café Tacvba and Andrés Calamaro, among others, and reveals anecdotes and unknown details of their artistic and personal life.
