The City of Buenos Aires and surroundings woke up on Wednesday with fog and dense fog banks that caused a significant reduction in visibility and the National Meteorological Service (SMN) issued a violet alert that also covers the center, north and east of the Province of Buenos Aires, Entre Ríos, Corrientes and Misiones, and part of Santa Fe, Chaco and Formosa.According to the agency, “phenomena that may represent inconveniences or difficulties in the normal development of social life are expected.” It is in this framework that the authorities of the SMN recommended:- Avoid driving.- If the fog surprises you while driving, keep a distance between vehicles and do not overtake others.- Turn on the low beams and fog lights.- Reduce speed.- As soon as you can, park in a safe place. Do not do it on shoulders or roads.- Stay informed by the authorities. According to the forecast of the SMN, the sky will remain mostly cloudy and the temperature could reach 24 ° C. It also indicates that the mists would dissipate in the course of the morning. For tomorrow, meanwhile, a minimum of 16 degrees and a maximum of 25 degrees are expected, under a partly cloudy sky. On Friday, the week will conclude with a maximum of 27° and a somewhat cloudy sky. No rain is expected until next week.
