Parácuaro, Michoacán.- Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla and the municipal president of Parácuaro, Uriel Bautista Cabrera, inaugurated the road rehabilitation of the El Varal-Cancita section, work in which 9.6 million pesos were invested, they reported in a statement.
The president reported that, of that amount, 5.8 million pesos were resources from the State Contributions Fund for Infrastructure and Municipal Public Services (Faeispum), and the rest of municipal participation.
He acknowledged that Parácuaro and other municipalities in the Apatzingán Valley region need priority works and for this administration, it is a commitment to support projects that favor the economic and productive development of the demarcations.
The Secretary of Communications and Public Works, Rogelio Zarazúa Sánchez, added that, thanks to the municipalist vision of the governor, resources were authorized to rehabilitate 4.4 kilometers of highway, in addition to the fact that Parácuaro has received, in this administration, more than 23 million pesos for different actions.
Uriel Bautista Cabrera, mayor of Parácuaro, commented that the work benefits several communities with a direct impact on 8,500 inhabitants whose main activity is the countryside.
