Jujuy: Macri benched Morales and said that “it is inevitable not to remember what we lived in 2017”

In the midst of the conflict that Jujuy is going through due to the sanction of the new Magna Carta, the former president, Mauricio Macri, said that he “condemns violence”, but also added that what happened reminds him of “what we lived in 2017 when they stoned us Congress” during the session in which the new pension reform law was discussed. Through his Twitter account, he said: “It is inevitable to see the images of Jujuy and not remember what we lived in 2017 when they stoned us Congress. All my repudiation and condemnation of violence: order was then and is fundamental today. Without law there is no progress. Without progress there is only more poverty and less and less future.” Previously, all Together for Change by the hand of Patricia Bullrich, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, Martín Lousteau and José Luis Espert, have already demonstrated their support for the Jujuy governor and pre-candidate for president. At the same time, from the ruling party, Wado De Pedro, Alberto Fernández and Cristina Kirchner condemned and repudiated the repression and asked Morales to “stop the repressive madness that his own actions have unleashed.” In addition, it is estimated that, from the police action, there would be several wounded and one person seriously due to the shots with rubber bullets and tear gas that were given to the demonstrators in the vicinity of the local Legislature.
