Morelia, Michoacán. – Michoacán was rated as one of the states with the best mood to invest in the Mexican territory, said the head of the Secretariat of Economic Development (Sedeco), Claudio Méndez Fernández based on the Data Coparmex 2.0 survey, according to a statement.
In a press conference headed by the governor, Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla, he pointed out that in the survey that measures the percentage of the members of the Employers’ Confederation of the Mexican Republic (Coparmex) who consider that it is a good time to invest, Michoacán was evaluated with 63.9 percent.
Méndez Fernández stressed that the entity exceeded the national average, of 53.4 percent, which left Michoacán only below Querétaro and Yucatán.
The Secretary of Economic Development considered that things are going well for Michoacán and reiterated that the state government and Sedeco are working to boost the entity in terms of investment.
“A very interesting fact came out about a survey that Coparmex did, about the best time to invest, the state of Michoacán came out very well positioned, in third place, with a rating of 63.9, when the average is 53.4, we are only below Yucatan and Querétaro, I think things are going well and we will be working to make it so, ” Indicated.
