Bedolla complies, delivers support to merchants relocated from the Patzcuaro market

Patzcuaro, Michoacán.- Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla delivered the first 258 economic supports to merchants relocated from the municipal market of Pátzcuaro, to help with the expenses generated during the process of moving merchandise, furniture and others, they reported in a statement.
Along with the municipal president, Julio Arreola and the secretary of Urban Development and Mobility, Gladyz Butanda Macías, the president reported that these supports range from 10,000 to 20,000 pesos for about 400 tenants who signed the notarized commitment letter and who were installed within the municipal market.
He highlighted the coordination and work in harmony between the Government of Michoacán, City Council and merchants so that the rehabilitation project of the municipal market is executed in a timely manner for the benefit of users, customers and tourists.
“The purpose of building a new building is so that they have a dignified and safe place to offer different services, improve the urban image and have the largest popular commerce market in the region,” he said.

He recalled that the infrastructure will have 16 thousand square meters, that is, the current space will be tripled and with it, the guarantee that the almost 900 registered merchants of the market, esplanade and surrounding streets, will be able to have places in the new market.
“This project has to do with a new hope and growth for Patzcuaro so that it continues to be the best Magical Town in the country and obtains the recognition sought by Unesco as Cultural Heritage of Humanity,” he added.
For his part, the mayor acknowledged the support of the governor and mentioned that with these advances “doors are opened to invest in the municipality and to promote joint projects for the rescue of the Lake Patzcuaro basin, which will allow the integral development of the region.”
