Mbappe was excluded from pre-season and PSG wants to sell him now

The French striker, Kylian Mbappé, will not be taken into account in Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) for the preseason in Asia due to the contractual conflict that drags the club and the player. PSG said in a statement on Friday and said they are determined to sell the young striker. The local press announced the player does not want to renew the contract because he has already agreed his arrival at Real Madrid next year, which generated a strong discomfort in the managers.  “We are entering a new era, with a new mindset, a new state of mind. All together we have to go in the same direction, proud to play for the club, for this shirt, for PSG. Happy also to be here and above all faithful,” said Nasser Al-Khelaifi, owner of the Parisian institution, a few days ago. In addition, in his statements, without naming him, he pointed against Mbappé: “The club is bigger than anyone here. Even bigger than me. I hope they are 200% in training. They are in the best training center in the world. They should be proud of that and they should benefit from it. They have everything to succeed here. Nothing is missing. It is necessary to work hard. I want to have fun when I see my team.” Although the striker scored a goal in Thursday’s friendly against Le Havre, his absence is related to the contractual problem and not to a physical inconvenience as initially claimed.  The contractual situation of Mbappé is undoubtedly the product of a major conflict for the French team. In recent seasons, he was the cornerstone of an ambitious sports project and after the departure of Lionel Messi everything suggested that he would gain an even more leading role, however, his refusal to extend his contract (ends in June 2024) unleashed an internal war to such an extent that the board is convinced that there is already an agreement between him and Real Madrid. If he definitely decides to leave, let him do so in this pass market in a transfer that leaves more than 200 million dollars to the institution.  “I have this hunger to win. I don’t want to be on a team just to participate. That’s why sometimes people think I’m arrogant. Because I hate to participate, “explained the footballer weeks ago precisely about the frustrated obtaining of the Champions League.
