Empower women; total 3 thousand 100 credits: SiFinancia

Morelia, Michoacán.- 3,100 credits have been delivered from the flagship Fuerza Mujer program, of the Integral System of Financing for Development of Michoacán (Sí Financia), which strengthens the empowerment and economic development of this sector, they reported in a statement.
The general director of the institution, Areli Gallegos Ibarra stressed that through the different credit schemes of the program ranging from three thousand pesos, to five million pesos, it has been supported with 440.4 million to two thousand 220 Michoacan women, some of them, receive this benefit for the second time.
“We have delivered 3,100 credits in 86 municipalities, every day we are advancing to reach more geographical corners of the state. We have attended to promote credits from the Sierra Costa to the East, and from the Bajío to the Tierra Caliente, the productive needs of businesswomen and entrepreneurs in the state are heard by voice,” she said.
Gallegos Ibarra stressed that the program is accompanied by training on financial education, business and gender, which are carried out in coordination with the Secretariat of Substantive Equality and Development of Women (Seimujer), the Michoacan University of San Nicolás de Hidalgo (UMNSH), Minerva Project and the Institute of Training for Work of Michoacán (Icatmi).
“Information sessions are constantly held for business groups, so far this year there are already 51, where three thousand 530 women have been served, in addition to providing 290 trainings, managing to impact and train two thousand 530 women with the support of Icatmi and Nacional Financiera, “he concluded.
