Patricia Bullrich starred in one of the curiosities of election day. The presidential candidate for Together for Change approached La Rural, in Palermo, to cast her electronic vote but had serious problems leaving the Single Electronic Ballot (BUE) in the ballot box, a situation that was recorded by television cameras. Bullrich spent almost 12 minutes in front of the screen trying to cast his vote: he stood in front of the machine at 12:29 and was only able to leave his ballot at 12:41, after receiving technical assistance. A very strange thing happened to me, I voted for a list and ended up getting a different one,” said the pre-candidate after her vote before journalists. It seems to me that electoral systems have to have a degree of maturity. You have to test them, work them for a long time to see if they work. My experience was bad. I imagine that many people will have to wait in a queue, if what happened to me happens to them. The normal thing is to vote for a while, three minutes and leave,” Bullrich said, proposing a counterpoint to the “electronic” modality promoted by Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, his competitor in the JxC presidential intern.
