Aníbal Lotocki: the Court of Cassation confirmed the disqualification to practice medicine

This Thursday, the National Court of Cassation confirmed the disqualification of Aníbal Lotocki to practice medicine. The news comes amid the shock of the death of Mariano Caprarola, victim of the malpractice of the doctor of the famous and while Silvina Luna continues to fight for her life in the intensive care of the Italian Hospital. Days ago, the surgeon had appealed the decision of the Justice to disqualify him provisionally and finally today the Third Chamber of the National Chamber of Cassation in Criminal and Correctional Matters resolved: “To dismiss in limine the appeal for reversal filed by the defense of Mr. Aníbal Rubén Lotocki.” In February 2022 and after 5 months of trial, the surgeon was sentenced to 4 years in prison of effective compliance, for serious injuries and 5 of disqualification to practice his profession by the Oral Court in Criminal and Correctional (TOC) Buenos Aires No. 28.The complainants who carry out the cause are Gabriela Trenchi, Stefanía Xipolitakis and Pamela Sosa and Silvina Luna who for three months has been fighting for her life in the intensive care of the Italian Hospital. Also on the afternoon of Thursday, August 17, the death of Mariano Caprarola, 49, who also had kidney failure and other health complications after being operated on by the Lotocki in 2010, was known.
