Zamora, Michoacán.- A young man who moments before left the Penitentiary Center of Zamora (Cereso) where he was imprisoned for “Crimes against health”, was serious when he was attacked with bullets by the crew of a car who managed to escape.
On the case it was learned that on Sunday afternoon, the emergency numbers received a report about a person injured by a firearm projectile outside the Cereso “El Pochote”.
Upon arrival the municipal police and paramedics of Rescue located the injured in the parking area of the Penitentiary Center, so he was helped and transferred to a hospital.
The injured is Víctor Ernesto L., P., known as “El Gato” and/or “El Güero”, 29 years old, a neighbor of the Ramírez neighborhood, which resulted in at least 6 injuries to his humanity.
At the scene of the attack, six 40-millimeter caliber shell casings were located, so experts from the State Attorney General’s Office came to retrieve evidence and testimonies.
It should be noted that this “El Gato” was arrested by the Municipal Police last Thursday along with another subject in possession of several glass wrappers, resulting in an arrest warrant for the crime “Damage to health”.
He was handed over to the authorities of the State Attorney General’s Office, who in turn transferred him to Cereso, where he had obtained his freedom today.
