The Minister of Economy and candidate of Union for the Fatherland (UxP), Sergio Massa, announced on Sunday new measures for workers in the private sector and employees of private homes, to control the impact of the post-PASO devaluation. Massa ordered a one-time non-remunerative salary increase on account of future increases in the joint discussions of $ 60,000 to be paid in two monthly installments, for public and private employees who receive a net income of less than $ 400,000 per month. This bonus will be “on account of the future parity, with the aim of strengthening the purchasing power of workers’ wages,” explained the official and added that “in the case of micro enterprises we will return 100% of employer contributions and in the case of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), of 50% of contributions to help workers.” Likewise, the official announced a one-time reinforcement of $ 25,000 in two monthly installments for employees of private homes, proportional to the hours worked. “For employers with incomes of up to 2 million pesos per month, the State will reimburse them 50% of this reinforcement,” announced the UxP candidate.
