Uruapan, Michoacán.- A sales agent was shot in one of his legs by a gunman who stripped him of his vehicle, in the Lomas del Valle Sur Fractionation, belonging to the city of Uruapan. The unit in question was abandoned a few blocks away, in the El Periodista neighborhood.
The violent robbery was reported on the street extension Paseo de la Cima, where the victim drove a Nissan vehicle, March, gray, being intercepted by criminals, who at gunpoint forced him to get out of his car, at which time one of the thugs shot him.
The thieves fled aboard the victim’s vehicle, while the victim, identified as Ramón G., 49 years old, ended up lying on the public road, being seen by neighbors who approached to help him.
Civil Protection paramedics were mobilized to the area, who helped the affected, stabilized him and transferred him to a local hospital, for adequate medical attention.
Officers of the Civil Guard and Municipal Police implemented an operation in search of the perpetrators, locating the stolen unit, abandoned on Flores Magón Street, a few meters from the Bus Station, so notice was given to the State Attorney General’s Office to carry out the respective investigations.
