Tlalpujahua, Michoacán.- Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla, started the rehabilitation work of the road section of Epitacio Huerta-Contepec-Tlalpujahua, in which just over 235 million pesos will be invested and will benefit 104 thousand inhabitants.
It is a multi-year work that will enhance the tourism, industrial and economic development of the region.
“The importance of this road is that we are in a very productive area, so all agriculture, tourism, the industrial park of Contepec benefit greatly by having roads in good condition,” said the state president.
He explained that 100 percent of the multi-year works, corresponding to a package of 9 billion pesos, have already been tendered.
“We are a government at ground level and municipalist”, that is why this great effort to have the roads of Michoacán in good condition; In addition, it is one of the main demands. With the scheme of multi-year works, it is ensured that they materialize and become a reality, he added.
For his part, the Secretary of Communications and Public Works, Rogelio Zarazúa Sánchez, explained that the work includes 58.2 kilometers of road with intermunicipal coverage, which is part of the multi-year works package of the eastern group that will serve 75 kilometers of total extension.
The governor was also accompanied by the municipal presidents of Tlalpujahua, Epitacio Huerta and Contepec, as well as local deputies, representatives of the productive sector and state officials.
