Morelia, Michoacán. – Antonio Plaza Urbina, leader of the Michoacán Primero party, in an interview for Monitor Expresso, detailed why he decided to create a new political party despite the fact that there are already a large number of parties in the state.
From Michoacán Primero they believe that within the spectrum of existing parties, there are no alternatives with which people feel identified, in Michoacán there is a group that does not feel comfortable with the parties that are, so there is room for alternatives.
On the dissemination of the policy that occurs in the Michoacan capital, he stressed that in Morelia there is talk of national issues and very little space is left to the local, which is the important thing, so in Michoacán First they want to have that concern / occupation to the local, to the colonies and to the zones, where they are not given the importance and attention they deserve.

About the power that other political parties already consolidated have and how to fight against it, the leader indicated that it is not as difficult as it seems, since the political system is failing citizens and there is a great crisis of representation, because people do not believe them, a deficit that a new party has, It is that people believe that they are equal to others for the sole fact of being a political party.
He added that to avoid falling into the same, work and construction must be done, since as a new party, everything is to be done, the installation of municipal and district committees is beginning, because participation in the 2024 process is part of the party’s founding process.
