Of 96 billion pesos budget for 2024, proposes Luis Navarro

Morelia, Michoacán.- The Secretary of Finance and Administration of the government of Michoacán, Luis Navarro García, reported that the Budget of Revenues and Expenditures 2024 that he will present to the Congress of Michoacán, proposes an increase of 5 percent, which means more than 96 billion pesos.
This package, he pointed out, contemplates addressing government policies, strategies and actions in a balanced and comprehensive manner.
“Officials are not permanent in public office nor should we use the resources of the people, but we do have the obligation to present results and act with responsibility and transparency, which is why we are committed to saving, avoiding unnecessary expenses and multiplying actions that promote the welfare of Michoacan society,” said Luis Navarro García.
He pointed out that the proposal of the financial package is realistic and contributes to the development of infrastructure works, while guaranteeing health, safety and education issues.
The official also indicated that in the 2024 budget it will include a bag for the payment of suppliers, of those who owe them for almost a decade.
The government of Alfredo Ramírez has indicated that up to 5 billion pesos of debts from the previous government have been paid.
