The Israeli ambassador said they are “doing everything possible to have correct information” about missing Argentines

The Israeli ambassador in Buenos Aires, Eyal Sala, stressed that together with the government they are “doing everything possible to have correct information” about the Argentines who disappeared after the attacks by the extremist group Hamas. We’re in touch a lot. The Argentine Embassy in Tel Aviv, with its Chargé d’Affaires, Francisco Tropepi, is doing an enormous job, every hour, without sleep, in contact with all the members of the Israeli government and the relatives of citizens who have not been heard from for eight days, said the Asian diplomat. In radio statements, the Israeli representative in Buenos Aires indicated that “unfortunately there is no contact with some Argentines who lived near Gaza.” We are doing everything we can to have correct information about each one of them,” Sala said, adding: “We are receiving almost nothing (of information about the abductees). Hamas is using them. They’re not going to say who’s alive and who’s dead. We’re trying to get as much information as possible.” He also explained that the “process of identifying the victims” who were killed in the Hamas attacks is advancing, so some of the missing people may not be kidnapped in the Gaza Strip, but may have died. Finally, Sala complained that “all the support Hamas receives mostly comes from Iran: financial, training, ideological aid.” In the Middle East there are two tendencies: one of moderates, who want to have freedom and for their people to live well and with them we are doing well, we have understandings, even with the Palestinian Authority; and on the other side are those led by Iran, who want to wipe Israel off the map, who don’t want to give rights to women,” she concluded.
