Morelia, Michoacán. – According to a press release, with a second truck, the Government of Michoacán continues to send 100 tons of food collected during the Jalo Festival, to provide support to the population of Acapulco, Guerrero, which was affected by Hurricane Otis.
Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla determined that non-perishable foods, such as rice, beans, sugar, lentils, oil, canned tuna, bottled water, and various cleaning supplies, are an act of solidarity on the part of the people of Michoacán towards those affected by the meteorological phenomenon.

He pointed out that the shipment of aid will continue until the 100 tons of products that were collected prior to the concerts of El Tri, Molotov and Caifanes are completed, as part of the public policy aimed at the integral development of young people.
To carry out the distribution tasks, personnel from the Secretariat of Government, the Michoacan Youth Institute (Ijumich), and the state DIF System, are in the state of Guerrero, in order to carry out the delivery of humanitarian aid.
