“BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star”: Docuseries Trailer and Release Date Unveiled

After the 2022 Disney+ premiere of “BTS: Permission to dance on stage – LA,” BTS returns with “BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star,” a new eight-episode docuseries that arrives on December 20 on the streaming platform with its first two chapters. Then, two new episodes will premiere every Wednesday. With never-before-seen interviews and performances and behind-the-scenes moments with RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook, the documentary takes audiences on a journey through the band’s 10-year career, with its ups and downs, for the first time in a docuseries format.
Featuring Hybe President Bang Si-Hyuk and Kang Myeongseok, author of “Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS,” the new production looks back at the band’s most important moments, from how they formed, how they prepared for their debut, what it felt like to win the Best Artist award at the Melon Music Awards in 2013, his difficulties during the “Danger” period. It also includes conversations about their first concerts, their debut at the American Music Awards and the Billboard Music Awards, what it felt like to become a star in the United States, speaking at the UN, playing at the Rose Bowl Stadium, and the excitement of performing at London’s Wembley Stadium and more. The docuseries also puts the spotlight on personal moments from their past, such as what they felt when they met, the process of renewing their first contract, the difficulties of isolation during COVID, as well as other more relaxed moments such as j-hope’s surprise birthday party and Jung Kook’s high school graduation ceremony.
