Mexico. – Mexican boxer Julio Cesar Chavez is released from prison, after several days of being detained, as his lawyers did what was necessary for him to be released on bail, after being arrested for possession of firearms without registration.
On Thursday night, in the city of Los Angeles, he was released, after his team of lawyers paid a bail set at $50,000 and mentioned that he is convinced that it can be a positive starting point for his life.
“Everyone gets what they deserve. I’m fine thanks to God, I’m fine and ready for what’s coming,” he told Univision’s microphones.
Let’s remember that on Sunday, January 7, according to reports from authorities in the United States, the son of the legend was arrested for having in his possession an assault rifle, which was cataloged as a ‘ghost weapon’.
Julio Cesar’s lawyers reported that the boxer will continue with the legal process within two weeks, in addition to having to undergo a rehabilitation program.
