Álvarez Máynez lashes out at Cuauhtémoc Blanco and promises to boost tourism in Morelos – MonitorExpresso.com

Mexico. – The candidate for the presidency of the republic for the Citizen Movement (MC) party, Jorge Álvarez Máynez, lashed out at the governor of Morelos, Cuauhtémoc Blanco, assuring that he has several accounts to settle and that his separation from office is due to the fact that he is seeking immunity, since his state is one of the most insecure due to his bad work. “I believe that those who do wrong end up paying the consequences and Cuauhtémoc should pay for what he did here in Morelos and should be held accountable. It’s clear he’s seeking immunity, but there will always be ways to hold them accountable when things were done this wrong.” During a rally where he met with militants and sympathizers in Tepoztlán, Morelos, where he was accompanied by Jessica Ortega, candidate for governor of this state for MC, Álvarez Máynez assured that if he wins the elections on June 2, he will retake control of the state and turn it into a tourist powerhouse. “(I am) the only option that has a path to pacify this country, to put order, to end the fear, with the terror in which organized crime and complicit, corrupt, subordinate governments have submerged us, such as the one that Morelos has with Cuauhtémoc Blanco, the only option that can generate a path of peace, of justice, of the fight against impunity in this country is the Citizens’ Movement.” He also said that not only the state of Morelos, but all the others whose presidents belong to Morena, “are bloodied” by crime, before this he proposed that when he is in the presidential chair he will change his security strategy. “What we are proposing, both at the federal level, in my case, and at the local level, with Jessica Ortega, is a change in security strategy, a change in this failed strategy that has bloodied the country, that has bloodied Morelos, that is ceding control of the territory in a state that should be a tourist power. an ecotourism powerhouse, to have prosperity, and that unfortunately today its development is overshadowed by crime and delinquency.”
