Pablo Moyano affirmed that the Bases Law implies “handing over the national patrimony”

In the midst of the discussion of the Bases Law, the assistant secretary of Truckers and triumvir of the CGT, Pablo Moyano, not only asked that the Bases Law be rejected in Congress, but also questioned the security operation promoted by Minister Bullrich. In dialogue with the media present at the mobilization, he said that “we hope that the conscience of the senators who arrive with the votes of the workers will defend the rights of the workers.” and denounced Milei’s government for “pressuring” the governors through the concession of public works “to get the vote it lacks.” In addition, he made it clear that “until last night we talked with some senators from UxP, but it is even. God willing that those who are undecided or doubting the turn of history and remain as a hero of the homeland who has defended national sovereignty.” In this sense, he asked that “it be rejected” because “otherwise Banelco returned,” since for him, the reform implies “handing over the national patrimony, natural resources, state companies, taking compensation from workers.” Then, about the security operation in which countless people were repressed, he hit Patricia Bullrich, described her as a “serial provocateur” and assured that the workers demonstrate “in peace.” “We are laborers, we are not animals or orcs as Macri said. We have stopped working to defend our rights and reject this Bases Law that is disastrous for workers,” he added. And, finally, he focused on Senator Lucila Crexell, who in recent days was at the center of controversy because it was known that the Government could initiate the process to place her as Argentina’s ambassador to UNESCO.
