In the face of complaints from users of an alleged misuse of personal data to request minicredits, the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) denied that this information is being misused.
On social media, citizens said that their Federal Taxpayer Register (RFC) was used without authorization to process some of the institute’s supports for the health emergency by COVID-19.

Some of them showed their screen on the IMSS Word Solidarity Support site with the legend “their solidarity support for the word has already been issued”, without requiring this credit.

However, the institute noted that this “does not imply that he was credited.”
