According to the information disseminated by the Tampico Sun, it states that the initiative provides in Article 45 that “Where relevant inconsistencies are detected in the information from the Mexican State or some means of communication, such information may not be censored but the self-regulatory committee must issue a public pronouncement alerting to the inconsistencies, falsehoods or ambiguities presented by the information”.
