Morelia, Michoacán. – The expansion of the Siglo XXI highway will be a work that will boost economic development and, above all, help avoid fatal accidents in one of the most important streets of the entity, said the president of the Board of Directors of the State Congress, Julieta García Zepeda, according to a statement.
After the governor, Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla, announced that this Thursday will begin the work of this work, in a first section of the Zirahuén-Cuatro Caminos highway, the deputy considered that, without a doubt, it is one of the most demanded works in Michoacán during the last years.
García Zepeda recalled that last October the Plenary of the Legislative Power of Michoacán approved issuing an exhortation addressed to the Federal Government to carry out the expansion to four lanes of the Siglo XXI Highway, and thus contribute to avoid more loss of human lives in accidents that occur constantly in it.
