“two secret” is part of his current project. They are drawings. Graphic works exploring Feuereisen with coal and Monotypes in large sheets. This new project is related to concepts around the ‘view’: ‘ I see’, ‘ which reflected’, ‘ what ‘it is revealed. In the background, the text of the myth of narcissus of the Roman poet Ovid.
Within its activities as a designer and artist has developed a diversity of projects and presented their work in national and international museums and galleries. In this regard, we highlight: two solo exhibitions: in 1998 A Space in the Void in the Museum of the Americas in Washington DC and in 1997 wailing at 80 Washington Square Galleries in NY. Group exhibitions: in 1999-2002 Mastering the Millenium: Art of the Americas, travelling exhibition (Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Caracas, Bogota, Quito and Lima) organized by the Museum of the Americas in Washington DC and in 1998 Slavik & Feuereisen, Carole Jones Gallery in NY.
Also, he has exhibited individually in the Centro Cultural Las Condes. The first time in 1995 his project the landscape of Chile (result of a trip painting across the country funded by The Mortimer Hays Brandeis Travelling Fellowship, Brandeis University) and the second, with a series of paintings entitled between waits and visits in 1999.
Feuereisen works are part of public collections. His works are in the permanent collections of: the Museum of the Organization of American States (OAS); The Museum of the Americas in Washington, DC; The Bank in Washington, DC; The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Chile; The Chilean mission to the United Nations; and the Gallery of the Bank of the State of Chile, among others.
Architecture projects in which Feuereisen, has also participated, include: Memorial 27F (bicentennial project awarded with first place in the 2010 Architecture Biennale), where they competed alongside the office of architecture Atanacio-Soza; and House of sleepers and cube intimate collaboration with architect Agustín Soza; both projects selected and awarded at the architecture Biennale in Chile and Quito, Ecuador.
Feuereisen, who currently lives and works in Chile, is also founder of DADA communication, creative agency with more than fifteen years in the market, which provides communications and design services. The Agency’s work has also been awarded. Noteworthy collaboration with Printer S.A., where 2017 accomplished the Benny (Chicago, USA) Gold Award for graphic quality in project Gala Banco de Chile La Bohème, Teatro Municipal de Santiago.
Feuereisen studied in New York City where he lived for fifteen years, at The City University of New York (BA) and New York University (MFA).
Sample “Secret of two” will be open to the public on August 3 and from Sunday 26th of the same month. The exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday between 10:30 and 19:00 hours.
