As part of a new way of bonding with those who graduated from the University of Concepción, the rector Carlos Saavedra met with 200 pupils of different areas and careers that are working in Santiago.
In this second meeting of the rector with the penquista House of studies graduates, the highest authority of the UdeC pointed out that you for 2019, in the framework of the celebration of 100 years of the University, will settle the “Alumni Network”, which seeks to promote the development institutional from the link with all the generations that have been previously formed. In addition, this community will be invited to be part of the future University Council (composed of faculty, administrative staff, students and alumni) that seeks to modernize the organizational culture of the institution.
Attendees knew in detail the different points that have referred to strengthen the relationship with the University, among them, creating a jobs and internship Center.
For the rector Saavedra was treated a day with an important emotional charge remarking that “alumni have always have been part of the University community, to build networks of cooperation, networks for our prospective students, links” Permanent for life-long learning as it occurs in these times”.
