Esa será la imagen que se recordará para siempre de Michael Schumacher, el que tantas veces corrió más rápido que todos y se consagró campeón del mundo en la Fórmula 1 en siete oportunidades, y hoy está cumpliendo 50 años de vida.
Siempre fue amigo de la velocidad y el vértigo en las pistas. Sin embargo, paradójicamente, la vida le jugó una mala pasada al alemán, que hace cinco años sufrió un accidente mientras realizaba esquí y resultó gravemente herido.Para celebrar el cumpleaños de Schumi, la familia lanzó una aplicación en la que se puede visitar virtualmente un museo para recordar y recorrer sus colecciones, sus récords, entre otros récords. Además, los fanáticos del multicampeón se manifestaron con el hashtag #KeepFightingMichael, que en español significa, “Seguí peleando Michael”.
Un curioso comunicado en la previa del cumpleaños
Luego del desgraciado hecho ocurrido en diciembre de 2013 en los Alpes franceces, la familia del piloto ha tratado de mantener hermetismo en torno a su estado de salud.Llamativamente, horas antes de que comience el día en el que Schumacher cumple 50 años, en sus redes sociales se publicó un comunicado que, entre otras cosas, informa: “Pueden estar seguros de que está en buenas manos y que hacemos todo lo posible por ayudarlo. Por favor entiendan que seguimos los deseos de Michael cuando un tema sensible como la salud queda reservado a la esfera privada”.
Statement of Michael’s family: “We are very happy to celebrate Michael’s 50th birthday tomorrow together with you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts that we can do this together. As a gift to him, you and us, Keep Fighting Foundation has created a virtual museum. The Official Michael Schumacher App will be released tomorrow, so that we can review all together Michael’s successes. The app is another milestone in our effort to do justice to him and you, his fans, by celebrating his accomplishments. We wish you a lot of fun with it. Michael can be proud of what he has achieved, and so are we! That’s why we remember his successes with the Michael Schumacher Private Collection exhibition in Cologne, by publishing memories in social media and by continuing his charitable work through the Keep Fighting Foundation.
