Beating his upcoming shows in our country (9/2 at Cosquin Rock; 15/2 at Opera Theatre of La Plata and 16/2 in Vorterix Theatre), Filo.News spoke with Adria rooms, vocalist and guitarist of the sticker: “Is lots of fun, energy, dance and adrenalin”.
Last December 22, this band that blends ska and Catalan rumba and languages such as Spanish, catalan, Galician and even Italian, celebrated its 15 years on a massive show at the Wizink Center in Madrid in the presence of 9,000 fans. “One tries to grow and go by, but don’t realize that 15 years have passed.” And that is why we had the need to do a special concert, take a step forward at the level of spectacle and make it even bigger. Now it seems we already too distant and barely a month has passed. But we believe that this concert is the beginning of what is to come,”says Adria, which is defined as”headhunters, singer, pentalingue and catalan for all purposes”in your Twitter bio.

Their first album, “Al Carrer!”, was funded by themselves and with the collaboration of Gambeat, Che Sudaka, Manu Chao and Txarango. “There go quiet and being consistent with the music that you like. That is why we have taken 15 years to many people discover us, and why we have been chopping stone for years. For us, this road has been much better than any other, because it has made us learn and improve in every one of the small steps. It has been harder but that sacrifice for doing it in our own way has paid off, no doubt,”expresses the musician on this aspect. It has led their feats with other artists to mix their sound with Amaral, Macaco, Rozalén and even rapper Arkano, who were encouraged to improvise on his last show in Madrid.
The group in argentina that have already submitted three collaborations (“La Malifeta”, “to run” and “fly”) are Los Caligaris. “But would you see playing with any other representative of our country?” We are very friends and fans of Los Caligaris. We believe, that our music can merge with any other and we have shown it with contributions from our drive, that most do not make the same music that we. We love the Argentinian music and probably do more things with Argentine artists,”adventure the interviewee.
