translated from Spanish: The Mitre Viaduct was inaugurated, how and why will it benefit the neighbors?

Mauricio Macri took part today of the inauguration of the work of the Viaduct of the Mitre train, which elevated the tracks to 14 meters of height. For this they used the assembly of Voussoirs, carried out through the shuttle beams, which allowed to rush the times and not interrupt the train service.

Tomorrow we inaugurate the #ViaductoMitre. A megaobra with which we will eliminate barriers, open streets and improve the frequencies of the train so that hundreds of thousands of people can travel better in a quality public transport. pic.twitter.com/WlrilpqPs5 — MinisterioTransporte (@MindeTransporte)

The work will benefit around 200,000 people directly from those who use the train, as the formations can reach 60 km/h, when the limit was 40 and those who move in auto and collective, which should not wait for the barrier. As indicated, in peak times, you can get off from three to two minutes between train and train.  The routes of Monroe, Blanco Encalada, Olazabal, Mendoza, Oath, Sucre, La Pampa and Ollleros were eliminated. In addition, the closed steps of Roosevelt, Echeverría, Virrey del Pino and José Hernández were opened.

The work was in charge of the Ministry of National Transport and was executed by the urban development of the city of Buenos Aires.
