An unexpected turn surprised Robert de Niro: his ex-wife Grace Hightower demanded a sum of money after having signed a prenup in November 2018, when they decided to end their relationship.
The Oscar-winning actor met the former TWA flight attendant in London during the year 1987. They had two children. They were married in 1997 but two years later they parted.
