Morelia, Michoacán.- In a statement the City Council of Morelia reported that the Secretariat of Mobility and Public Space, this day undertook an exercise in tactical urbanplanning, to reorder the circulation and provide the necessary conditions for all people who use it, do it safely.
The activity was carried out in a period of three hours, in order to identify the functionality of the design and if necessary to make the necessary adjustments to obtain the best solution for this crossing and thus improve road safety, in addition to achieving the activation of a space that can safeguard public transport stops, trees and benches.
With the above, stability in the safety of pedestrians is sought, among which are elderly people, people with disabilities, infants and young people, who travel daily through the streets Emiliano Zapata, Plan de Ayala and Hero of Nacozari.
The activities will continue from the conclusions obtained and the modifications to the design that emerge from them, with the particularity that the exercise is done again already with the presence of pupils from surrounding schools and increased vehicle load.
