During the hearing, the court dismissed a possible illegality in Gajardo’s detention, which was alleged by his defence, on the ground that, according to his representative, he was not assisted by a lawyer.
Among the cases for which the accused is blamed is the explosion of an explosive device at a Transantiago whereabouts in Vicuña Mackenna, in which five people were injured of varying severity.
