At first glance, it can be identified because it is not of striking color, but presents dark brown tones, and unlike other species of Loxosceles in the country, where it is not so marked, it has a dorsal pattern in the form of a violin very visible, hence its name.
Loxosceles tenochtitlan can be found mainly in Mexico City, the State of Mexico and Tlaxcala.
