Mexico.- Through social networks, a person identified as Alejandro was exhibited and accused of threatening a young woman with spreading an intimate video or ‘pack’, in addition to expressing insults and intimidating her.
According to the complaint placed on the profile of a Facebook user, the individual who would be a law student at the Faculty of Higher Studies (FES) Aragon, of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), threatened and assaulted her by WhatsApp messages.
Through screenshots, the whistleblower noted that Alexander threatened to broadcast the intimate video if she continued to ignore it. In the face of this, the young woman confronted him and mentioned the existence of the Olympic Law, which sanctions the dissemination of sexual content without consent.
The young man turned and said he was a lawyer, his answer was: “See you in court.” After the screenshots were released, Alejandro deleted his Facebook account and would also have blocked his Instagram profile, according to people close to him.
After this case, another young woman published conversations with who would become a law student of FES Aragon. In these new screenshots, it is read that Alexander threatens the woman with beating her if he sees her with someone else.
In networks, women have reacted against aggression but emphasize and celebrate that such threats and the publication of intimate content are already sanctioned in 17 states of the country with the so-called Olympic Law.
