Culiacan, Sinaloa.- Material damage left yesterday morning the explosion of a gas tank inside a house located in the Tierra Blanca colony. At the time of the events, the people who inhabit the property were outside, being unharmed.

Half an hour before 11:00 a.m., firefighters and Civil Protection personnel from the state and the municipality immediately moved to the house that is almost corner Francisco Márquez Avenue and Agricultores Street. It was being reported that a gas cylinder had exploded. As they approached the indicated site, the “swallow” with their team helped stifling the flames. Neighbors commented that before the misce they realized that the area smelled a lot of gas, but they didn’t imagine what was about to happen. One of them even grabbed two small fire extinguishers trying to calm the fire, but seeing the situation worsen to enter. The scene indicated that a certain amount of gas had accumulated and in an oversight a spark that could have come from a short circuit was what caused the explosion to occur, which caused the front door to collapse. The property was ventilated to get the smoke out.
