Morelia, Michoacán.- Through a statement it has been reported that the Government of Morelia is making satisfactory progress in the various works carried out in the rural environment, as part of the Annual Investment Programme (IAP).
In the administration of the municipal president, Raúl Morón Orozco, the field sector has been greatly strengthened, with the creation of the Secretariat for Rural Development and Environment and with a strong investment of own resources to enhance its economic activities.

Among the main works is a vehicular bridge over the Tumbisca River, which registers a 93 percent advance and will connect 12 populations of the tenure of San Miguel del Monte; meanwhile, in Tiripetío, the construction of 52 macrotunnels for the production of vegetables, for the benefit of 150 families, is about to be completed.
Morelia City Council reports that there are advances in the rural sectorIn the holdings of Santiago Undameo and Teremendo de los Reyes, we work on 19 new pens and 11 pots of water for the improvement of livestock activity, with special attention in the production of milk and meat; finally in Cuto de la Esperanza another 14 pots will be placed, to encourage the cultivation of nopal, with 95 percent advancement, as well as trainings to optimize processes and get the maximum possible performance of each project in the area.
