Morelia, Michoacán.- With the aim of safeguarding the health of the elderly adults of the Casa de los Abuelos Miguel Hidalgo, the City Council of Morelia headed by the President, Raúl Morón Orozco, through the Municipal DIF strengthened the security measures with the staff who enter the facilities for the care of users.
The President of THE MORElia DIF, Rosalva Vidal Pérez, reported that for several weeks, access to visits or family members is no longer allowed and in addition, all personnel working in the asylum with gloves, covers mouths, cofias and masks, in addition to the mandatory application of healthy distance, were equipped with protective equipment.
“We are taking extreme precautions because we are in the most difficult stage of this contingency, only nurses and rehabilitations have contact with our older adults who require special care, in addition to constantly disinfecting all areas and objects commonly used.”
In the same vein, the Director General, Alejandra Corona González, added that before her admission, the staff is reviewed by the nursing area, to carry out their process of disinfection, hand washing, use of mat with chlorine and during their stay they take care of the staff taking care of the prevention measures before COVID-19.
With these actions, the Government of Morelia endorses its commitment to care for the most vulnerable sectors during the development of this pandemic.
