“We are waiting for the new stage of quarantine,” he confirmed. The steps that will be taken will be the same as those of the last update, two weeks ago. First, work will be taken to strengthen controls on public transport, which will remain only for workers in essential activities. On the other hand, work will continue in the main vulnerable neighbourhoods of the City, where the number of prevention posts has tripled.
As a novelty, Larreta said that activities that generate greater concentration of people will be restricted. In this sense, large shopping malls will be disabled, causing only barrier shops to remain active. Tomorrow morning, the City Government will hold another press conference to further detail the restricted shops.
Finally, it expressed concern about the increase in cases. “In this very place, two weeks ago, we had announced 83 new cases in the City. Today it was 400. I mean, five more times,” he said.
